Pet Care Cashbook is a local Windows desktop app for independent dog walkers and pet sitters. Track clients and pets, schedule services, mark completed visits, record cancellation fees, issue printable service statements, log payments manually, and keep an expense and mileage ledger.

INSTALLATION

1. Download and extract the complete ZIP archive to a folder.

1. Open the PetCareCashbook folder created by extraction.

1. Run PetCareCashbook.exe.

1. Keep the _internal folder beside the executable; the application needs it to start.

Windows 10/11 64-bit. Python and internet access are not required to run the application. Source code and a build script are included.

IMPORTANT LIMITS

• The app records payments manually. It does not process or verify card, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or bank-transfer payments.

• Exported documents are service statements, not certified tax invoices. Check local accounting and invoicing rules.

• Data stays in a local SQLite database and is not encrypted by the application. Use a secured computer account and make backups.

• There is no cloud or phone synchronization. The app is an administrative tool, not veterinary advice.
